Soorah Hassan is FLA’s Platform Administrator, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of its digital platforms. Her role includes managing user access, monitoring system health, and implementing updates, while collaborating with global teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize platform performance.
Prior to joining FLA in 2023, Hassan started her career at the United Nations Office of Genocide Prevention and Responsibility to Protect (R2P) and has since committed herself to human rights advocacy and continuing to expand her technical expertise in support of global human rights initiatives. Hassan is based in Illinois and speaks Malay, Arabic, and English.
