Phuong Do is FLA’s social compliance director, accreditation, overseeing the manufacturing accreditation program for companies. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Do is the key driver of FLA’s activities in Vietnam and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).
Before joining FLA in 2018, Do spent 10 years with adidas Sourcing Limited in Vietnam. She has 18 years of expertise in the field of social compliance, supplier monitoring, training and capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and project management. In Vietnam, Phuong is senior advisor for a focus group working with VCCI, MOLISA, and additional stakeholders as part of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) to develop a labor law reform roadmap. She is an active member of the Vietnam Buyers Forum and a cooperated professor for TUV Rheiland Vietnam and SGS Vietnam.
Fluent in Vietnamese and English, Phuong obtained her bachelor’s degree in international journalism, social science, and humanities from Ho Chi Minh University and her master’s degree in supply chain management from IEA Business Sorbonne Paris.
