Nisha Terumalai is FLA’s Project Manager for the Agriculture and Supply Chain Innovation team. She is responsible for the implementation of human rights due diligence across various supply chains.
In her role, Terumalai has driven multi-stakeholder initiatives involving businesses, civil society, and government entities in Malaysia and beyond. She has managed high-impact projects, such as the People Positive Palm Project, and led capacity-building workshops in supply chains, fostering meaningful improvements in workers’ rights.
Prior to joining FLA, Nisha worked with various marginalized groups, including children and refugees, during her tenure with the UN Refugee Agency and UNICEF.
Nisha holds an academic background in political science and defense studies. She currently resides in Kuala Lumpur with her two cats, Gandalf and Arwen.
