Madison Bledsoe is FLA’s Communications Specialist. She manages the organization’s publications process for a wide range of FLA materials, including accreditation reports, biweekly newsletters, project reports, press releases, guidance documents, and more. She works directly with staff to provide copyediting and design assistance and contributes to the organization’s communications strategy and media relations activities.
Prior to joining FLA in 2024, Bledsoe worked with marketing and consulting firms to develop compelling written content for national organizations, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Throughout her career she has specialized in content writing and editing, with a wide range of experience producing reports, bylines, blog posts, newsletters, and articles. Her work has been published in dozens of trade publications, covering topics such as workplace occupational safety and health, federal and state government regulations, and consumer safety protections.
Bledsoe earned her bachelor’s degree in history and public relations from the University of Georgia. She speaks English, with a proficiency in French, and currently lives in Washington, DC.
