Gore Wear Assessment for Accreditation
Quality inspection at a contract facility in Myanmar for GORE BIKE WEAR® & GORE RUNNING WEAR®.
The FLA Board of Directors voted on February 8, 2017, to accredit the social compliance program followed by GORE BIKE WEAR® & GORE RUNNING WEAR®.
The accreditation of Gore apparel brands comes after the FLA conducted four SCI assessments (two in China and one each in Türkiye and Myanmar), two field visits to shadow internal audits in China and Türkiye, and one headquarters visit to Germany.
The accreditation report specifically recognizes the brands’ development of a responsible sourcing policy and supplier scorecard and an emphasis on remediation and collaborative supplier relationships.
