FLA Accredited Monitors

Independent External Monitors are accredited for a period of two years. Accreditation is renewable for successive two-year periods after a review of compliance with the standards of independence and qualifications for Independent External Monitors outlined in the FLA Charter.

Accordia Global Compliance Group, a provider of advisory and supply chain monitoring, is accredited in Guatemala, Mexico and the United States.

A & L Group Inc. (ALGI), a labor inspection firm based in New York, is accredited in China, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mexico and the USA.

Association for Stimulating Know-How (ASK) is a non-governmental capacity building institution committed to the cause of community-based development among the economically deprived and marginalized sectors of Indian society. ASK is engaged in many projects including grassroots interventions, evaluation and documentation, resettlement and rehabilitation, social development and corporate social responsibility. ASK is accredited to monitor the full FLA code in India.

Balkan Institute for Labour and Social Policy (BILSP) is a non-governmental, non-profit association headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria. BILSP is accredited in Bulgaria.

Bureau Veritas (BV) is a global testing and monitoring firm accredited in India, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Turkey.

Cal Safety Compliance Corporation (CSCC) is a provider of social responsibility education, training, and compliance monitoring services. CSCC is accredited in the USA and Turkey.

Certificaciones Internacionales S.A. (Certint) is an organization providing social compliance services. Its founders have been involved in social auditing in the Americas since 1999. Certint is accredited to monitor the full FLA code in Argentina, Brazil, and Ecuador.

Cotecna Inspections, a Geneva-based verification and inspection organization, is accredited in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and the USA.

COVERCO (the Commission for the Verification of Corporate Codes of Conduct) was formed in 1997 as a non-profit consortium of individuals from Guatemalan civil society and various professions to provide independent code monitoring. COVERCO is accredited to monitor the full FLA code of conduct in Guatemala.

Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), a Dutch-based Multi Stakeholder Initiative supporting and promoting good labour conditions in garment production. Fair Wear Foundation verifies whether the 40 member companies comply with the Code of Labour Practices. These companies source from factories in Eastern Europe, North Africa, and Asia. FWF is accredited to monitor in India and Tunisia.

Global Standards/Toan Tin, a code and compliance standards consulting firm, is accredited to monitor in China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

Grupo de Monitoreo Independiente de El Salvador (GMIES), a civil society initiative formed in March 1996 to promote social responsibility and decent working conditions through independent monitoring. GMIES is accredited to monitor the full FLA code in El Salvador.

Impactt Ltd. is an "ethical consultancy" firm specializing in supply chains founded in the UK in 1997. Impactt is accredited to monitor the FLA code in China. The firm maintains an office in Guangzhou.

International Resources for Fairer Trade (IRFT) is a civil society organization formed in 1995 to address poverty and unemployment in India by promoting and supporting fairer trade by businesses. IRFT is accredited to monitor the full FLA code in India.

Kenan Institute Asia (KIAsia), a joint American and Thai non-governmental non-profit organization, promotes cross-sectoral partnerships in environmental protection, economic development, labor standards, and better business practices. KIAsia is accredited in Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

Level Works Ltd.
is a Hong Kong based company dedicated to developing and executing progressive labor compliance related services at the factory level. Level Works has offices in Shenzhen & Hangzhou, China, India, Turkey, the Middle East, and the USA. Level Works is accredited to monitor the full FLA code in China, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey.

LIFT Standards works to achieve improved working conditions with increased productivity while seeking to sustain a corporate social change process. Lift Standards is accredited to monitor the full FLA code in Bangladesh.

OneStep Viet, is a labor monitoring and capacity building company headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. OneStep Viet has been providing consulting, training, and monitoring services to different stakeholders including companies, suppliers, government, and international organizations like the ILO. One Step Viet is accredited to monitor the full code of conduct in Vietnam.

Phulki is a Bangladesh-based NGO focused on securing better working conditions, especially for women factory workers and slum children. Phulki is accredited to monitor all the FLA code elements, except for Freedom of Association, in Bangladesh.

Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS), a Geneva-based global provider of testing, monitoring and verification services, is accredited in the following countries: China (including Hong Kong and Macau), India, Pakistan, Turkey and Vietnam.

T-Group Solutions, a labor compliance monitoring firm, is accredited in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

TUV Rheinland Group, an international technical assurance provider founded in 1872 in Germany, is accredited in China (including Hong Kong).
